Our Corporate Partners

The ILCU Foundation has been very fortunate to obtain the support of corporate partners who value our work and provide us with important financial and technical support to advance our mission. Their generosity has allowed us to continue our fight against poverty and to give people a lasting gift of hope for their future. The ILCU Foundation has corporate partnerships with the following companies:

InfoTV partnered with us to help raise our awareness amongst the credit union movement by showing an ILCU Foundation advertisement across television screens in credit unions across the country.

ECCU Assurance Limited partnered with us and provided the ILCU Foundation with a financial contribution to support our current project in Sierra Leone.

Moore Stephens partnered with us to allow us to avail of their knowledge of credit unions and they also provided the ILCU Foundation with a generous financial contribution. In September MSN supported two internal audit staff from Albania and Belize to visit Ireland as part of a two week study tour, consisting of a number of learning seminars hosted by MSN & ILCU Foundation, and the opportunity to visit a number of credit unions across the island. In 2017 Moore Stephens provided technical support to the Ukrainian National Association of Savings and Credit Unions (“UNASCU”) as part of a Credit for Agriculture Producers project. The main purpose of the technical assistance was to improve internal capacity of the UNASCU with regard to its support of the implementation of the internal audit function. Two Moore Stephens employees, experienced in the delivery of internal audit in the Irish economy, spent two weeks in Kyiv, Ukraine in November 2017. They worked directly with the staff in UNASCU staff in a coaching capacity, to aid in the delivery of internal audit services supported by UNASCU to credit unions in Ukraine. In addition, they visited a number of credit unions in Ukraine to gain a fuller understanding of the nature, scale and complexity of credit unions in Ukraine, and the current internal audit environment in the credit unions. Moore Stephens staff were able to demonstrate the operation of the tools provided and how the various tools relate to each other in the context of implementing a robust internal audit function.
