Credit Union / CU Member:
ILCU Foundation supports families and communities in developing countries by using the voluntary income that we receive from generous financial donations from credit unions & members across the island of Ireland. This voluntary income is critical to ensure we can provide safe, strong and secure credit unions in some of the worlds most disadvantaged countries and it is generated from a variety of sources.
If you’re a credit union or a credit union member who values our work and would like to support us please see the below opportunities:
- Credit unions could hold a fundraising event and members could volunteer their time to help to organise the event which then raises funds to allow us to continue our vital work. Such events include - coffee mornings, table quizzes, bake sales etc. We have a dedicated staff member which will help you to organise and promote your event - please contact us using the below information
- Credit unions could place an ILCU Foundation coin collector on the front desk within the banking hall of the credit union to gather small donations, please contact us using the below information to order the unit/s
- Credit unions can put forward a proposal for members to vote at the AGM to provide a financial contribution through the credit union and issue it as an expense item
- Credit unions can put forward a proposal for members to vote at their AGM to provide a small share of their dividend - which could amount to as little as 10c per member
